Inkscape 0.48.5

Inkscape is a free and open source, but powerful SVG compliant vector graphics editor, with capabilities similar to Illustrator, CorelDraw, or Xara X, using the W3C standard Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file format. By being focused in vectorized graphics, great tools and open source expansion of all of its core capabilities, this great image editor became very popular with both novices and professionals who use it on daily basis in various projects.

Inkscape supports many advanced SVG features (markers, clones, alpha blending, etc.) and great care is taken in designing a streamlined interface. It is very easy to edit nodes, perform complex path operations, trace bitmaps and much more.
